Aerial Footage Shows Empty Barcelona Streets as Daily Death Toll From Coronavirus Decreases

Police in Catalonia thanked Barcelona residents for staying indoors as official figures from Spain’s Ministry of Health showed the daily death toll from the coronavirus continued to decrease on April 5.

El Pais reported that the rate of deaths from the new coronavirus, COVID-19, stood at 674 on Sunday, down from 809 on Saturday and well below Thursday’s record high of 950 deaths in one day, according to figures from the country’s Ministry of Health.
