Adelaide Airport Terminal Evacuated Due to Security Fault

Terminal 1 at Adelaide Airport was evacuated briefly on December 11 after a fault in security equipment allowed some travellers to pass into the airport without being properly screened.

All customers were moved out of the sterile area and a sweep conducted before the screening process began again and travellers were allowed to re-enter the concourse, Adelaide Airport said.

Passengers were told to expect flight delays as a result of the fault. Credit: Jo De Silva via Storyful
