180 Migrants Allowed Disembark Rescue Ship in Sicily

Following a week at sea, 180 migrants were allowed to disembark the rescue ship Ocean Viking by authorities in Sicily late on July 6.

SOS Mediterranee, the NGO that manages the ship, said on Twitter that the disembarkation began before midnight on July 6.

The day previously, the group said Italian medical staff came on board to test for the coronavirus.
