Victims Led Away as Police Respond to London Bridge Attack

London’s Metropolitan Police said a man was shot and killed by police on London Bridge after people were stabbed in a “terrorist incident” on November 29, according to reports.

Neil Basu, the Metropolitan Police’s head of counter-terrorism said the force found a “hoax explosive device” strapped to the body of the attacker, who was shot by City of London police.

A local resident recorded video footage showing police and local officials assisting victims, with one being carried off the bridge on a stretcher.

Basu said officers were going to continue a “meticulous” search of the area to ensure there were no other outstanding threats to the community. Credit: John Merry via Storyful
