Victim of Hounslow stabbing named as Tyreece Scott as police make two arrests at Stansted airport
Detectives investigating a deadly stabbing in Hounslow have named the victim as 24-year-old Tyreece Scott as police arrested two men at Stansted Airport.
Mr Scott was found with a stab wound in Grove Road at around 1.15am on Tuesday. He died at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics.
Two men, aged 23 and 19, were arrested at Stansted Airport on Friday after arriving back in the UK. They remain in custody.
A post-mortem examination carried out on Thursday confirmed that Mr Scott had died as a result of a stab wound to the chest.
His family have been informed and continue to be supported by family liaison officers, the Met said.
Detective Inspector Ollie Stride, from the investigation team, said: "This is a significant development, however our investigation continues and we are still keen to hear from any witnesses who have not yet spoken to us."
