Veteran HK celebrity couple Liza Wang and Luo Jia Ying to perform in Genting Highlands in May

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 21 — Veteran celebrity couple Liza Wang and Luo Jia Ying will be performing in Malaysia in conjunction with Mother’s Day celebrations.

Scheduled for May 13 at the Arena of Stars in Genting Highlands, this is the first time the couple are returning to perform here since 2018.

Wang, 75, is a household name in the Chinese entertainment scene and has been nicknamed “The Big Sister” in the Hong Kong entertainment circle.

She started her career in the industry via acting in drama series before moving on to singing in which she released albums for her television series.

Luo, 76, started out as a Cantonese opera singer in the 1970s before becoming an actor in 1990.

The couple tied the knot in 2009 after being in a relationship for two decades.

Tickets are priced between RM168 and RM668 and are subjected to a RM4 processing fee.
