A rare tornado was recorded in the city of Arecibo, Puerto Rico, amid torrential rainfall warnings from the National Weather Service on May 1.
Darwin A Cruz Torres recorded various clips of the incident, and told Storyful that a tornado in Puerto Rico is “very rare.” According to Accuweather, the last recorded tornado in Puerto Rico occurred in 2019.
“The full experience lasted about eight minutes,” Torres added.
