Vanuatu Left Strewn With Debris After Tropical Cyclone Kevin
Debris lay scattered on streets in Vanuatu on Saturday, March 4, in the wake of Severe Tropical Cyclone Kevin.
Footage filmed by Yacht Delivery Solutions shows damage caused by the cyclone in Port Vila.
Vanuatu-based journalist Dan McGarry tweeted, “Fuel is in short supply, power is out everywhere, and a boil water order is in effect.”
Vanuatu Meteorology and Geo-hazards Department said on Saturday evening that the cyclone was no longer a threat to the island but isolated showers and thunder were expected.
