Vanna White and Pat Sajak’s daughter Maggie Sajak are giving fans a glimpse of what really goes on behind the Wheel of Fortune game board.

Maggie, the game show’s social media correspondent, posted a backstage video on Instagram with her father, who will retire from the show on June 7 after over four decades as host. She captioned the rare glimpse from the show's iconic set, “Secrets from behind the puzzleboard!!👀.”

“Look who I found!” Maggie, 29, began the video as she panned the camera to reveal Pat, 77.

The host remarked that the area looked like “an election headquarters” with the many TV screens. He added, “I think I see some anchormen.”

By popular demand, Maggie agreed to show viewers what went on behind the scenes, but Pat stipulated that they couldn’t show much because “there are certain things that are highly classified.” He then pointed his daughter toward a small table of Fiji water bottles labeled “Pat’s Water.”

“They just gave me enough to last the rest of the season,” he joked.

In a separate video posted to her Instagram, White, 67, showed off the treats available at the refreshments table. Other than “crochet, briefly” and looking at upcoming puzzles, she picks up a box of nuts.

“They used to bring cookies. They used to bring chips. They used to bring all the bad snacks, and I used to eat them,” White informed. “I said, do not bring them anymore.”

Now, the show only provides two options: nuts and chocolate — the latter of which the hostess tries to avoid.

Last June, Pat announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the 41st season of Wheel of Fortune would be his last. The season 41 finale, aptly titled “Thanks for the Memories,” will air next week and mark his final episode on the program, which he joined as host in 1981.

"It’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all. (If nothing else, it’ll keep the clickbait sites busy!)," Pat wrote on X at the time.

White, Pat’s longtime cohost, told PEOPLE in October 2023 that she considered exiting the show with her professional partner. However, she admitted that she was “not ready to retire” and decided to remain on the syndicated game show through the 2025-2026 season.

Ryan Seacrest will take over Pat’s position, a role the American Idol host said he was “truly humbled” to assume.

"I can’t wait to continue the tradition of spinning the wheel and working alongside the great Vanna White,” Seacrest, 49, said in a statement following the hiring news.
