Valerie Bertinelli Shares if She Plans to Get Married for a Third Time
Valerie Bertinelli just gave a clue about her future plans with boyfriend Mike Goodnough... and is marriage on the table?
The former Food Network star is currently a lifestyle expert on The Drew Barrymore Show, and she sat down during the September 10 taping to talk about relationships and the shame that could come from getting a divorce. While the conversation initially started about divorce, host Drew Barrymore flipped the script and asked Valerie a question that a lot of fans were thinking of.
"If I've learned anything at this age, it's never say never, at all," Valerie said in a clip posted on Instagram.
"OK, what about you?" Drew asked back.
Upon hearing Drew's response, Valerie got mum about if she plans on getting married again. Instead, she shared about how she's trying to release the shame of being divorced twice (she split from her first husband, late musician Eddie Van Halen, back in 2007; she later ended her marriage to second husband Tom Vitale in 2022) and be happy with where her life is at this moment in time.
"I think during anybody's life, I think we're slowly from childhood building and adding shame into our soul," Valerie concluded. I think the key to feeling beautiful and feeling like you're worthy and feeling like you are enough is to release a lot of that shame... So, do what you want to do! Do what feels good! As long as you're not hurting anybody, do what you want to do!"
Upon hearing Valerie's candid thoughts on the subject, folks immediately related to her feelings in the comments.

As fans know, Valerie first teased her romance with Mike back in April. The duo went public with their relationship later that month, and have since showcased sweet moments together online. They also made their red carpet at the 2024 Daytime Emmy Awards in early June, cementing their status as a couple.
No matter the case, we're just happy to see Valerie thriving with her beau!
