“Uzo Aduba is one of our finest actresses, and since I first saw her work nearly a decade ago I’ve been impressed by her excellence across genres and championing of characters whose stories have been missing on screen,” DeNicola said. “The past few months I’ve been delighted to learn what a lovely person she is, too. I’m so excited to get to work with her, CBS Studios, Management 360 and UTA to further the brand of premium and purposeful storytelling she has already established.”

DeNicola most recently served as content development manager in drama at Hulu, where he managed the latest seasons of “Wu-Tang: An American Saga” and “Love, Victor.” He also worked on the upcoming series “Conversations With Friends” and oversaw the development and production of 24 films produced with Blumhouse TV under the “Into the Dark” banner.

His time at Hulu also included work on shows like “Normal People,” “High Fidelity,” “The Act,” “Harlots,” and “The Handmaid’s Tale.” Prior to Hulu, he worked at Anonymous Content and CAA.

“I am thrilled to be stepping into this new chapter with the launch of Meynon Media,” Aduba said. “The purpose of this creative expansion supports a passion and desire I have to try and effect change in the world through stories that educate, inspire, and entertain. I could think of no better way of honoring these truths, than by naming this production company after my beloved mother, Nonyem.”
