Usher Hits the 2024 BET Awards Red Carpet in Jeans as He's Joined by His Wife Jenn Goicoechea, Mom and Sons!

The hitmaker is nominated for four BET Awards and is set to receive a lifetime achievement prize at the ceremony

The 2024 BET Awards is a family affair for Usher!

The superstar hit the red carpet alongside his wife Jennifer Goicoechea Raymond, mom Jonnetta Patton, sons Naviyd Raymond and Usher "Cinco" Raymond V and brother J. Lack.

He also brought his effortlessly cool sense of style wearing a white blazer and dress shirt, with light-washed jeans, black boots, a black belt and matching sunglasses. The Grammy winner topped off his look with a dazzling vintage 18k yellow gold Piaget watch with a pavé diamond dial from the 1970s, sourced by Analog:Shift, home to one of the world's largest collections of vintage and pre-owned timepieces.

His family also matched, with Patton wearing a chic all white suit and Jennifer in a black midi dress with gold buttons. His sons wore all black suits with sneakers alongside music producer J. Lack.

In addition to his four BET Award nominations, the hitmaker is set to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes “special achievements and distinguished public service” among industry trailblazers “who have powerfully shifted culture and the entertainment industry.”

The accolade will only further pad out his respectable collection of five BET prizes — the most recent of which was a tie with star and former collaborator Chris Brown for best male R&B/pop artist at the 2023 ceremony.

In a public outing earlier this month, Usher similarly packed the style, showing off a fashion-forward maroon suit on the carpet at the Apollo Theater Spring Benefit with his wife, where he was honored with the icon award. For her part, Jennifer looked chic in a black-and-white embroidered button-down, wore under an LBD with black tights, gloves and a crystal camera bag. The pair wed in a small Las Vegas ceremony shortly after his Super Bowl Halftime performance in February. Usher and Jennifer share daughter Sovereign Bo, 3, and son Sire Castrello, 2.

During his acceptance speech, Usher made sure to thank those who have supported him throughout his career before giving a special shoutout to his wife.

"Last and most certainly not least, without your love, passion, support to my best friend, Jennifer Raymond. I love you baby," he said. "My wife, who is in the audience tonight. Thank you for your support and I'm so happy that we could do this together. Mother's Days are so awesome. I'm hoping that y'all going to hook me up for Father's Day."

Earlier this year, Usher proved he looks just as good without a shirt during his career-spanning Super Bowl Halftime Show in February, where he stripped down and revealed his six-pack abs while singing through his catalog of hits. During his 13-minute performance on one of music’s biggest stages, the “OMG” singer rocked a floor length wool overcoat, a glittery tank, a blue and black bodysuit, and, of course, his iconic roller skates.

The 2024 BET Awards airs on June 30 at 8 p.m. ET/ PT live from the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.
