The United States Navy hospital ship Comfort departed New York on Thursday, April 30, a month after it arrived in the midst of the US’ worst coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
The Comfort was docked in Manhattan along the Hudson River since March 30. It returns to Norfolk, Virginia. Pentagon spokesman Jonathan Hoffman said all patients on the ship were discharged by April 26.
