US Lawmakers March for Abortion Rights After Supreme Court Overturns Roe v Wade

US Democratic lawmakers marched to the Supreme Court on June 24 to protest for abortion access after the US Supreme Court voted 6-3 to overturn the landmark 1973 Roe v Wade decision that legalized abortion nationwide.

Colorado Congresswoman Diana DeGette tweeted a video saying that members of Congress were “heading to the Supreme Court now to make our voices heard.”

“We trust women, we won’t go back,” DeGette and others can be seen chanting in the video, as some carry signs in favor of abortion rights.
