US farmers flee wildfire sparked by dry conditions in dramatic footage
Emergency services have shared the moment that several farmers were forced to flee after a wildfire broke out as a result of dry conditions.
Footage from Butler County Sheriff’s Department in Nebraska on Thursday (17 October) shows several tractors driving to escape while smoke plummets from fields in the background.
Red warnings were issued in multiple counties across the state urging farmers to stop harvesting.
One of the nation’s only two combined fish and vegetable farms was destroyed.
