This Unexpected Royal Could "Initiate Peace" in Prince Harry and Prince William's Feud
The royal is "trustworthy" and was once "very close to the late Queen," earning them respect from the royal family.
Prince William and Prince Harry's feud has been showing no signs of repair, but according to a source, there is one unexpected person within the royal family that could lay the groundwork for the brothers fixing their relationship.
"[Princess] Beatrice could act as a peacemaker for Harry, William, and Charles," King Charles' former royal butler Grant Harrold said in an interview with Express. "She would be someone to initiate peace in the family. She’s close to both William and Harry, as well as the King—and they trust her."
While Beatrice would want to see the feud reach a resolution, she would want to stay out of the crossfire as much as possible. "It would be her out of anyone else—but she wouldn’t want to be too involved," he told the publication. "She would try to be careful." There's already a high chance that she's already tried getting involved in peacemaking—"I have no doubt she would have spoken to the two brothers at some point to try to improve the situation," Harrold added.
A large part of Beatrice's trustworthiness comes from how fond Queen Elizabeth was of her. "Beatrice was very close to the late Queen," Harrold explained. "They had a strong bond, which was respected by the Royals. She’s also close to her uncle, King Charles, and cousins, William and Harry. She gets on well with all the family and is known for being approachable and trustworthy."
Beatrice also has a great bond with William and Harry individually—something that has always been a constant throughout their lives, with Harrold saying, "It’s never changed. They always have a lot of jokes together and can have a laugh." Reconciliation between Harry and William is still yet to be determined, but Harrold thinks the hope remains alive because of Beatrice: "They’re cousins, but they’re close and have each other’s backs. They do spend a lot of time together."
