The Undoing spoilers follow.
The Undoing season 2's possibility has been addressed by star Hugh Grant, who responded to the idea of a follow-up to the HBO series with Nicole Kidman.
It was the biggest US show to launch on Sky Atlantic when it landed on Sky in the UK, beating a record previously set by Game of Thrones back in 2011.
Hugh played oncologist Jonathan Fraser, who is married to Kidman's Grace Fraser. The doctor is the key suspect for murder throughout the show, which eventually ends with him being found guilty and arrested.
On the idea of season 2, Hugh exclusively told Digital Spy: "Well, maybe baby. You know, I think there's certainly more story to tell about Grace, and my son, and Grace's dad. I don't know exactly what I'd be up to, just in prison.
"I don't know how that develops. I mean, you'd have no whodunit, because we now know who did it. You'd have to find some other thing to keep you interested. I don't know. I think it might be quite hard to do a sequel."
Producer David E Kelley previously told TVLine: "I think we're satisfied. We're happy with the way it ended. I said there wouldn't be [a second season of] Big Little Lies, so I won't say that now. I learned my lesson. But that is not our intent."
Meanwhile, director Susanne Bier was a little more hopeful but thought it was likely wishful thinking.
Elsewhere Hugh has launched his Audible book, where he has narrated the whole of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, which you can hear with a free 30-day trial.
He told Digital Spy the project left him in tears, but in a good way: "I found it incredibly moving. Maybe I'm just old and soft. It made me cry. And it sort of made me feel like a better person afterward. It was improving. I would say that it's an improving book, as well as a fun book."
