Underwater camera captures dolphins in action

On July 15, their underwater camera captured images of a pod of bottlenose dolphins gliding along a ship and diving back down to the sea.

"Dolphins are fairly regular visitors to the ship, so it gave the crew plenty of time to set up (and fine tune) an ad-hoc camera mount that could be lowered over the ship's bow to film the animals in action," said Michael Gonsalves on board the NOAA's Ferdinand Hassler ship.
