"It is scary for us all but we need to do our duty not to give the enemy any opportunity to occupy our lands and for us all to return home alive and healthy," 37-year-old Dmytro said.
Ukraine has deployed many of its new M-777 howitzers at the front lines in the east of the country. The system is seen as particularly significant because of its long range and accuracy.
Washington has delivered 90, Canada 4 and Australia 6 M-777 artillery pieces to the Ukrainian armed forces since April, according to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry sources.
