UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson welcomes Swiss President Ignazio Cassis to Downing Street

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson welcomed the President of the Swiss Confederation Ignazio Cassis to Downing Street on Thursday 28 April. Mr Cassis is also Switzerland's Foreign Minister but this year also holds the rotating Swiss presidency. A Swiss government statement said the trip would focus on ways to deepen cooperation between the UK and Switzerland. Russia's invasion of Ukraine is also on the agenda.
