U.S. repatriates bodies of WW2's Pacific airmen

STORY: The remains, which have yet to be identified, belong to crew members of a B-24 bomber nicknamed "Heaven Can Wait." It was shot down in 1944 with 11 crew members on board.

The wreckage was only discovered in Papua New Guinea's Hansa Bay in 2018, after decades of searching, at a depth of about 200 feet.

U.S. officials say Navy divers worked for 35 days earlier this year to fully comb the site and recover the dead.
