A U.K. woman has been charged with manslaughter after her sons died in a house fire in LondonA U.K. woman has been charged with killing her four children after they died during a house fire in London.
According to a news release from the Metropolitan Police on Sunday, Deveca Rose, 29, was charged with four counts of manslaughter on Nov. 9. She was also charged with child abandonment.
Two sets of twins, Leyton and Logan Hoath, 3, and Kyson and Bryson Hoath, 4, died after the fire in the Sutton area of south London in December 2021.
Firefighters removed the four brothers from the house during the "intense blaze" and gave them CPR, according to the BBC.
The four children were then taken to two south London hospitals where they were pronounced dead.

Police added in the release that they “understand the significant impact on the local community following this devastating incident.”

"They would like to reassure people that this extremely complex investigation continues, supported by partner agencies including the Crown Prosecution Service and London Fire Brigade,” the release continued.
According to U.K. newspaper The Times, neighbors said Rose was out shopping when the fire was discovered shortly before 7 p.m. local time in December 2021.

Per the publication, the carer said in a statement at the time that she will "never get over" the loss of her sons.
"Bryson, Kyson, Logan and Leyton were my boys, they were my babies, they were my life, they were my world," she said. "They were my heart; they were my soul, they were everything. Everything feels so surreal. I can’t function.”
“They will never be here again and I will live with that for the rest of my life," she added.
The twins’ father, Dalton Hoath, 28, also said in a statement at the time, per The Times: “They were bright, caring, loveable boys, but most of all sons, brothers, grandsons, great-grandsons, nephews and cousins.”
