Last month, ABC Entertainment announced that Dancing with the Stars would be returning without long-standing frontman Tom Bergeron, who joined the show in 2005, or Erin Andrews, who came aboard in 2014.
"Just informed [Dancing With The Stars] will be continuing without me," Bergeron tweeted at the time. "It's been an incredible 15-year run and the most unexpected gift of my career. I'm grateful for that and for the lifelong friendships made."
"That said, now what am I supposed to do with all of these glitter masks?"
The duo's firing has sparked a mixed reaction from fans, with one replying to the new teaser: "You’ve lost me as a viewer. Have watched since the beginning."
"Tom and Erin were fantastic and should never have been fired. Scoring system needed to be fixed but nothing else. Bye bye DWTS."
"I can't wait for the new season! All that glitters is Gold... it's going to be epic. A true fan, always and forever. Can't wait to start talking #DWTS with my family and friends... thank you," another gushed.
