Two Torino players contract COVID before key relegation clash

ROME (Reuters) - Two Torino players have tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of a crucial Serie A match against Cagliari, the club said on Thursday.

The two first-team players, who were not named in the club statement, have gone into isolation after returning positive results in the latest round of swab tests.

Torino are 17th and travel to face a Cagliari side that is two points below them in 18th on Friday, in a big game for the relegation battle.
