Investigation Discovery has set a Monday, May 27 premiere date for Fallen Idols, Nick and Aaron Carter, a four-part docuseries that will delve into the lives of the titular brothers, “from their outsized fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s to their headline-making struggles in recent years.”

Airing from 9 to 11 p.m. ET each night on Monday, May 27 and Tuesday, May 28, Fallen Idols promises to explore the accusations of sexual assault against Nick Carter by three women, while also diving into his brother Aaron’s struggles with mental health and substance abuse — and the rift that occurred after Aaron decided to support his brother’s accusers. (Aaron died of an overdose in November 2022.)
The docuseries features exclusive interviews with singer and actress Melissa Schuman, who in 2017 accused Nick Carter of sexual assault, and additional accusers Ashley Repp and Shay Ruth.

* Paramount+ has renewed the animated reboot series DORA — which follows the titular bilingual explorer (voiced by Diana Zermeño) and her monkey companion Boots (Asher Colton Spence) on epic adventures in a fantastical rainforest guided by trustworthy Map (Anairis Quiñones) — for Season 2.
* Aja Naomi King (How To Get Away With Murder) will star opposite Melissa Fumero, AnnaSophia Robb and Ben Rappaport in the NBC pilot Grosse Pointe Garden Society as Catherine, an unhappily married mother of two and a member of the titular club with a juicy secret, per Deadline.
* Paul Forman (Emily in Paris) will guest-star in an upcoming Doctor Who episode as Lord Barton, a Regency-era character with surface-level charm and sinister secrets, according to Entertainment Weekly.
* MTV today announced the 2024 “VMAs” will make its return to New York on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at the UBS Arena, airing live around the world in more than 150 countries.
* Disney+ has released a trailer for Jim Henson Idea Man, an upcoming documentary on the visionary puppeteer from renowned filmmaker Ron Howard, premiering Friday, May 31:
