TVLine Items: Golden Wedding Update, Snoop Dogg Joins Olympics and More

A familiar face will oversee the nuptials of Golden Bachelor couple Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist.

Susan Noles — who was also a contestant on the aforementioned dating competition series — will officiate the Golden Wedding between Turner and Nist, airing this Thursday night at 8/7c on ABC, Glamour was first to report. Jesse Palmer will host the two-hour special.

“The happy couple came up with the idea because we became so close during the show,” Noles, who has been officiating ceremonies for over a decade, told Glamour. “Gerry’s my buddy and now Teresa is my girlfriend, so why not? I never asked them why, to tell you the truth. But I’m really glad they did.”

* Snoop Dogg is joining NBCUniversal’s coverage of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 this summer. Throughout the Games (beginning July 26), Snoop will offer “his unique take on what’s happening in Paris,” exploring explore the city’s iconic landmarks, attending Olympic competitions and events, and visiting with athletes and their friends/families.

* The United Football League (UFL), aka the merged XFL and USFL, will kick off the 2024 season on Saturday, March 30, with a game between the Arlington Renegades and Birmingham Stallions. The USFL conference is home to the Stallions, Houston Roughnecks, Memphis Showboats and Michigan Panthers, while the XFL conference includes the Renegades, D.C. Defenders, San Antonio Brahmas and St. Louis Battlehawks. Games will air on ABC, ESPN, Fox and FS1.

* Hulu has released a teaser for Vanderpump Villa, an “unscripted docu-drama” premiering this spring and following Lisa Vanderpump’s hand-selected staff as they work, live, and play at an exclusive French estate, Chateau Rosabelle:
