TVLine Items: Gilmore Girls ‘Reunion,’ Invincible Return Date and More

Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and EP Daniel Palladino have tapped a Stars Hollow alum for their upcoming ballet drama Étoile.

Yanic Truesdale (aka GG’s Michel) will recur in the Prime Video series as the head of a Parisian ballet company, our sister site Deadline reports.

Étoile will be set in New York City and Paris, and follow the dancers and artistic staff of two world-renowned ballet companies, as they embark on an ambitious gambit to save their storied institutions by swapping their most talented stars. The cast includes Luke Kirby (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Gideon Glick (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Charlotte Gainsbourg (Alphonse, Call My Agent!), Simon Callow (Outlander), Lou de Laâge (The Innocents) and David Alvarez (West Side Story).

* Prime Video’s animated series Invincible will return with the second half of its eight-episode second season on Thursday, March 14, with four new installments airing weekly.
