TVLine Items: Betty la Fea Trailer, Fox Sports Lands Indy 500 and More

Betty la Fea is back after 20 years in a newly released trailer for Prime Video’s continuation of the popular telenovela Yo soy Betty, la Fea.

Premiering Friday, July 19, the new series picks up after “a death in Ecomoda forces Betty to reconnect with her former coworkers, as well as with Armando, whom she is still married to but separated,” reads the official synopsis. “She also reunites with her daughter, Mila, who has been studying fashion in New York and returns with the desire to work in Hugo’s workshop. Betty will have to rebuild her relationship with her daughter, while making important decisions that will impact her career, and decide whether to reconcile with Armando, who will do everything to win her back.”

Ana María Orozco and Jorge Enrique Abello will reprise their original series roles as Betty and Armando, respectively. Additional returning cast includes Julián Arango, Natalia Ramírez, Lorna Cepeda, Luces Velásquez, Marcela Posada, Mario Duarte, Julio Cesar Herrera, Ricardo Vélez, Alberto León Jaramillo and Estefanía Gómez.
