TVB's Joe Chan working on new Moses Chan-starrer?
2 Aug – TVB producer Joe Chan recently confirmed rumours that he is currently developing a new series based on the "Sutra of Forty-two Chapters".
As reported on HK01, the producer, who was asked about the new project, stated that it will not be a costume drama in the likes of Jin Yong's "The Deer and the Cauldron", of which the Sutra of Forty-two Chapters was key to the Manchu's treasure, but instead will be a modern comedy.
"The drama is currently in preparation. As for the cast, it is not convenient to reveal too much. But the drama does have something to do with "The Deer and the Cauldron"," he said.
Rumour has it that the upcoming project will star Moses Chan and Kalok Chow. In addition, Katy Kung, Zoie Tam and Kaman Kung may also be joining the cast.
When asked about it, Kalok expressed, "If I get to work with Moses Chan, I will look forward to it."
It is noted that Joe is known for many hit TVB series including, "Never Dance Alone", "Triumph in the Skies", and "Raising the Bar".
His latest TVB series is "Battle Of The Seven Sisters", which is set to air this month.
