Tsunami Sirens Heard in Kodiak Following 8.2 Magnitude Earthquake Off Alaska Coast

A tsunami warning was issued for areas of the Alaskan coast following a 8.2 magnitude earthquake on July 28.

Officials in Kodiak called on residents to evacuate to higher ground.

The all-clear was announced just before 1am local time on July 29, officials said.
