This Is The Real MAGA Svengali on Don Jr.’s Greenland Stunt
Donald Trump’s eagle has landed.
More aptly, his Maltese falcon has landed—Sergio Gor is now back on U.S. soil after he and his recon team, which included Donald Trump Jr., completed a curious mission to make Greenland great again.
A 38-year-old immigrant from the Mediterranean Republic of Malta, Gor is a fun-loving, fierce Trump loyalist famous for getting the dance floor thumping at Mar-a-Lago, where his DJ prowess earned him the nickname “mayor of Mar-a-Lago.”
Very soon, though, he’ll have the federal government humming with MAGA patriots in his new powerful role as Donald Trump’s “mayor of hiring.”
But before taking on those big responsibilities, Gor flew aboard Trump Force One with friends including Don Jr. and conservative media darling Charlie Kirk, 31, on a scouting trip to see if Greenland really is all the rage—or, rather, purportedly for a podcast show. Their trip came also, however, as the president-elect refuses to rule out using military force to seize Greenland from the Kingdom of Denmark.
Touring Nuuk, the island’s capital, Kirk, Trump Jr. and Gor had lunch in a cozy cafe where Greenlanders donned red “Make America Great Again” caps and the incoming 47th president of the United States—who’d seemingly like to simultaneously rule the arctic island—called in with a message.

Of Gor, former Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz told The Washington Post, “I have never been to a Sergio DJ party where a conga line doesn’t break out.”
This conga prowess may be a factor in why Trump chose him to be his incoming director of the White House Office of Presidential Personnel. But as much as Trump loves a cheesy tune, loyalty and trust come first, incoming Trump White House Communications Director Steven Cheung told the Daily Beast.
“President Trump is choosing the best and brightest individuals to serve in his second administration and help him deliver on the promises he made on the campaign trail,” Cheung said. “Sergio has been a trusted and loyal advisor to President Trump and has the necessary qualifications to ensure competent and pro-America individuals serve in the administration.”
“He’s going to be like the general manager of the government,” Gaetz told the The Post of his close friend Gor, who officiated when the sex scandal-plagued former congressman—and former nominee for Trump’s attorney general—tied the knot with Ginger Luckey on Catalina Island off the coast of California in 2021.
Gor has long proven he’s not willing to shy away from controversy to deliver, quite literally, for Trump.
That is, he once even helped deliver a message from Trump to Russian President Vladimir Putin. In 2018, he accompanied his then-boss, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), to Moscow on a mission to deliver Trump’s letter to the Kremlin. Paul at the time was a leading defender of Trump’s overtures to Putin.
Now, Trump’s low-key consigliere is coming out of the MAGA woodwork to vet thousands of applicants before deciding whether to approve them for jobs in Trump’s government.
He’s as close to Trump, the father, as he is to his eldest son. Or maybe even closer.
“I imagine he’s had dinner more in the last year with my father than I have,” Trump Jr. said.
