Reminder that Sydney stars in Anyone But You with Glen Powell, and says their chemistry was "instant."
"We met first at the MTV Movie Awards very briefly, but there was like a catch in the eye, you're like, 'Hmm!'" she told Yahoo! "And then when I found this script and I was putting together the cast list, I kept thinking of Glen, because I couldn't get him out of my mind. And I was like, let me get on a call with him, pitch him the idea and see if he liked it and he ended up loving it and our first time actually sitting together and spending a lot of time together was here in Sydney, and the first moment we hung out [the chemistry] was instant."
Their chemistry was actually so convincing that everyone assumed they were in an IRL relationship, and Sydney (who is literally engaged) recently joked to People “I mean, we sold a rom-com. We were just filming a fun, amazing movie.”
“I think people saw just how much fun we actually were having," she added. "They want it. It’s fun to give it to ’em.”
I mean...they were convincing!
