Troye Sivan Responds to Timothée Chalamet Signing a Vinyl with His Autograph
The actor played a sleep demon version of the singer in a 2023 'Saturday Night Live' skit

During the Paris premiere of the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown, a fan gave Chalamet, 29, a vinyl of Sivan's 2023 album Something to Give Each Other to sign.
In the video shared on Instagram, the actor was signing autographs on the red carpet and stumbled upon the album cover. He paused, posed with the vinyl for a picture, and then signed it as "Troye Sivan."
Sivan, 29, shared the video on his Instagram Stories along with a picture of Chalamet's inscription.

Timothée ChalametFans online loved his reaction. "the fact that he wrote troye’s name and not his lmfao," one person wrote. "The way he didn’t sign the other poster OF HIM LOL," another pointed out.
"Do they attend each other’s look alike contests? 😜😂," someone joked referring to the viral lookalike contest of the Dune actor that took place in New York.
Chalamet had been asked to sign Sivan's 2023 album before when he was promoting Wonka. Chalamet told the fan it wasn't him, to which they responded "That’s basically you." Chalamet obliged, saying that "in some universe," he could indeed be Sivan.

In a November 2023 episode of Saturday Night Live, Chalamet appeared in a skit as a sleep demon version of Sivan wearing his trademark white tank top and a blond wig.
Sivan reacted on Tiktok, calling the skit a "weird f---ing dream." "Like imagine… I’m like, no, Timothée Chalamet was in my dream, but he was me, and he was wearing my clothes and he was doing…"

Maybe Sivan will start signing posters as Chalamet next to keep the bit alive.
