Tropical Storm Nalgae Makes Landfall in Philippines

Tropical Storm Nalgae made landfall in the Philippines early on Saturday, October 29, according to the national meteorological service.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the storm, known locally as Tropical Storm Paeng, crossed the southern tip of Catanduanes and made landfall in Camarines Sur.

The PAGASA called the storm “severe” and said it would bring heavy rainfall, coastal flooding and severe winds to regions in the Philippines, including Capiz.
