Tropical Storm Claudette Hits Coastal Alabama

Tropical Storm Claudette was moving inland over southeastern Louisiana early on June 19, the National Hurricane Center said.

The storm was expected to bring heavy rain and potentially life-threatening flood conditions along the Gulf Coast as far as the Florida Panhandle.
