Tropical Depression Ida Dumps Rain on Florida Panhandle

Heavy rain and strong wind gusts hit the Florida Panhandle on August 31, as Tropical Depression Ida struck the region.

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Fort Walton Beach and surrounding areas, predicting wind gusts of up to 60 mph (96.5km/h) and possible hail.
