Tropical Depression Ida Brings Flooding to Southeastern Louisiana Coast

Tropical Depression Ida brought flooding to Louisiana’s southeastern coast after making landfall as a Category 4 Hurricane on August 29.

This video taken by the Slidell Police Department, who said they filmed it on August 30, shows street flooding on Camellia Drive and Bayou Liberty Road.

The National Hurricane Center issued a flash flood and heavy rainfall warning for areas of Mississippi, Alabama, and the western Florida Panhandle on the afternoon of August 30, as Tropical Depression Ida moved north-northeastward over western Mississippi.
