Trick-or-Treater Replaces Candy After Finding Bowl Empty Outside California Home

A kid’s act of kindness was caught on camera at a California home on October 31, with footage showing them replacing the contents of an empty bowl with their own Halloween candy.

Kristina Brown had left a bowl outside her home with a sign explaining that her baby was sleeping, with a request that kids only take three pieces of candy each.

Footage posted to her @bulletsnbling TikTok account shows the last of the candy being taken, which is when the generous trick-or-treater stepped in and left some pieces of their own loot for the next callers.

Brown told Storyful that she noticed that the candy was different from what she’d put in the bowl, which is what prompted her to check the doorbell camera and discover the kid’s kind act. Credit: @bulletsnbling via Storyful
