Tree Collapses in Suburban Backyard During Los Angeles Thunderstorm

An intense storm battered parts of Southern California on Monday, December 28, bringing down a 100 year old jacaranda tree in a suburban Hollywood backyard.

This video uploaded to Twitter shows the aftermath of the destructive storm as rescue crews clean up the downed tree.

Flood advisories were in place for parts of Los Angeles County as the thunderstorm dumped a heavy deluge.
