He was released on bond after paying $500 and $150 on the charges respectively, according to the report.

A reporter with posted that witnesses say the rapper was on a charter boat at the Miami Beach Marina. “

Scott was on a charter boat and was involved in a disturbance or a dispute with the boat’s crew, police told CNN. Officers were called to the marina, and he was asked to leave; the rapper left and returned, and again got into a dispute with the crew and was asked to leave again. After he refused, he was arrested.

“He was drunk, causing a disturbance and asked to leave multiple times,” an unnamed source is quoted as telling WSVN News in Miami. ” Police told the outlet Scott “became irate screaming profanities, left and returned to disturb some more.”

Contacted by Variety, Miami police declined to provide further details. A rep for Scott did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Scott is currently on a break before his “Circus Maximus” tour, which launched last year in North America, continues in Europe. The first date is June 28 in the Netherlands; the tour continues through August 4 in Portugal before a September date in Brazil. The tour is in support of “Utopia,” his first album in five years, which was released last summer.

Scott’s career has been marred by tragedy in November of 2021 after 10 people were killed and hundreds injured when the crowd surged at his Astroworld festival in Houston. He was not charged in the incident; investigations are ongoing although all wrongful death lawsuits related to it have been settled.
