Travis Kelce Joyfully Cheers When Caitlin Clark Says He’s Her Favorite Chiefs Player
The WNBA star joined Travis and Jason Kelce on their podcast for the first episode of 2025
Caitlin Clark's favorite player on the Kansas City Chiefs is none other than Travis Kelce!
The WNBA star, 22, appeared on the Jan. 2 episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, where she revealed her longtime love for the Kansas City Chiefs and that Travis, 35, is her favorite player.
Clark said her family would try to go to one Chiefs game every year as she was growing up, and recalled a particularly freezing Christmas Eve game she saw Travis play in a few years ago.
When Jason, 37, asked Clark who her favorite player is, after she revealed her brother was a big fan of former Chiefs tight end Tony Gonzalez, she said, "I mean, obviously Travis is up there," which prompted cheers of excitement from both Kelce brothers.

"I'm obviously a big Patrick [Mahomes] fan too," Clark added. "The both of you, you're pretty great."
Travis interjected with a silly impression of Mahomes, 28, saying, "Thank you," in a nasally tone after Clark complimented the Chiefs stars.
After revealing Travis as her favorite player, Jason asked the Chiefs tight end to cover his ears so he could ask Clark what she thinks of the Chiefs current season, as they attempt to make NFL history as the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
"I'm feeling good," Clark said of the Chiefs, pointing to Kansas City's 13-1 record. "That's not too bad," the Indiana Fever rookie continued.
"But also, you guys have made it interesting as a fan," Clark told Travis. "I think that's what I appreciate about you guys the most. You guys have that edge, that clutch factor," Clark explained.
Travis noted that the Chiefs have won games because of their stellar defense this season and that their 13-1 record — clinching them the top seed in their division — has been a "full team effort this year."
In December, Clark shared more praise for Travis and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, after the WNBA star attended “back-to-back” Eras Tour performances during Swift’s Nov. 1-3 run at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Clark said in her Time interview that she even met with Travis and his mom Donna Kelce during one of the shows — and that Swift even invited Clark to attend an upcoming Kansas City Chiefs game with her.
In a note sent to Clark by Swift, the singer wrote that “Trav and I” are hoping to attend an Indiana Fever game to watch her play, as well.
