Travelers Face Another Day of Long Waits at English Channel Crossing

Travelers at the English Channel crossing in Dover, UK, faced another day of long lines on Saturday, July 23, after a major incident was declared due to hour-long waits a day earlier.

Footage recorded by Jean-Baptiste Thiebaut shows cars and other vehicles stuck waiting for the Eurotunnel and ferries at the Port of Dover on Saturday.

The Port of Dover said on Saturday morning that though they were "relieved " that the French Border Police had increased staff numbers, the port was still expecting a “very busy” day.

Local media reported that lines were already forming at 7 am on Saturday.
