Garbage was spilling out of waste bins on the streets of Edinburgh on August 24 as a refuse strike entered its sixth day.

This footage shows bins near central locations including the Scott Monument, Waverley train station, and the City of Edinburgh Council building.

The strike was due to continue until August 30, according to local media.
