COVID-19 | After an individual who took an Express Timuran train from Johor Bahru to Tumpat on Nov 10 had tested positive for Covid-19, six other passengers from the same train have been asked to come forward to be screened for the virus as well.

The six passengers, who sat in the T6 coach during the ride, held ticket numbers T201152111087, T201035922381, T201078130791, T201182443886, T201176241266 and T201193852880.

Kelantan Health Department director Dr Zaini Hussin confirmed that a passenger on the train had tested positive for Covid-19.

“As such, we ask these six passengers to come forward and undergo the testing for Covid-19,” he said to Malaysiakini when contacted today.

Kelantan is one of four states not currently under the conditional movement control order (MCO). Instead, the state is under the recovery MCO.

Yesterday, eight new cases were recorded in Kelantan, bringing total active cases in the state to 93.
