Despite his burly frame, a large bear squeezed himself though the crawl space of a building in South Lake Tahoe, California.
Trail camera footage captured during the night on December 5 shows the bear performing the Houdini-esque act, before returning into the wild.
The recording equipment was set up by Toogee Sielsch, a wildlife photographer based in the area.
“Some folks have asked just how B33 gets his 500lb body in or out of that 14”x14" crawlspace entrance," Sielsch wrote on Instagram. “Well, it takes two videos for him to get out, and at least three videos (not shown) to get back in.”
