Tori Spelling's 5 Kids Support Mom at Her First “Dancing with the Stars” Performance: 'Having the Time of My Life'
The actress is a mom to Liam, 17, Stella, 16, Hattie, 12, Finn, 12, and Beau, 7
Tori Spelling's kids are her number one supporters.
On Tuesday, Sept. 19, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 51, shared her love for her little ones after they came to her first Dancing with the Stars live performance as a contestant on season 33. The proud mom posted a sweet snap of herself and her five kids, Liam, 17, Stella, 16, Hattie, 12, Finn, 12, and Beau, 7, whom she shares with ex-husband Dean McDermott, on Instagram after the show.
"Here’s my WHY…" the actress began in her caption. "My 5 babies coming to see me perform LIVE on DWTS! Showing my kids that at any point or age you can push past your fears and believe in yourself!"
She admitted, "This so far has been the hardest yet one of the most rewarding experiences of my life," adding, "I danced to my personal anthem 'Trust Fall' with my amazing partner @pashapashkov . I’ve never had any dance experience, training, or lessons. I do not workout {except hustling and taking care of 5 kiddos} and I have a huge fear of performing in front of an audience."

"But, I’m doing it!" she added. "I’m putting my heart and soul into this journey. I’m finding ME! The ballroom is my therapy ❤️. Having the time of my life."
Spelling then reflected on her younger self, whom she says always let her fear get in the way of going for the mirrorball trophy.

"So proud of that young version of myself who was shy, fearful, insecure, and didn’t feel worthy. Finding your worth is POWERFUL!" she shared. "Thank you @dancingwiththestars for this opportunity to do this for myself, my kids, and everyone out there who has ever felt this way about themselves. I dance this season 33 for all of us 💃xo."
On the Sept. 6 episode of her misSPELLING podcast, Spelling opened up about the casting process for the show, revealing, "I got multiple calls over the last previous 32 seasons. Maybe in fact, 32 calls."
She continued. "The answer was always no and I always had a different reason why I couldn't do it. Every season I [watched it], and I was like, 'Good for her [or] for him. Oh, god. I wish I was brave enough to do it.'"
When her team was approached with another offer, Spelling decided to take the chance despite it being "literally one of my biggest fears in life."
