Tori Spelling Celebrates Son Liam as the 'First Love of My Life to Grow Inside Me' on His 17th Birthday

The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 50, shared photos on her Instagram Story on Wednesday honoring her son Liam on his 17th birthday.
The tribute began with a throwback video of a young Liam dancing around in his pajamas, with children's artwork plastered all over the wall behind him. The fun video was followed by a photo of a young Liam sitting in front of his birthday cake, blowing out the candle.
"Happy 17th birthday to the first love of my life to grow inside me," she wrote. "I love you @liammcdermott___."

In December, Spelling enjoyed time out with her four younger kids at Jingle Ball 2023 and opened up about needing the family time after a "challenging" year.
"Jingle Ball 2023 ... Music , Kiddos, and Sequins OH MY! My kids and friends and family had the BEST time this past weekend!" she wrote, thanking iHeartRadio for making "a pre teen girl , teen girl , and moms dream come true seeing @oliviarodrigo."
"After a challenging 2023, it was everything to see Olivia! She’s been our anthem and music champion thru [sic] this time. We sang our hearts out to her," she continued. "Grateful beyond words to my @iheartradio family!! Also grateful to our friends and hair/makeup goddesses that made all of us girlies look and feel special : @laurarugetti @julzhopemua @nicolevegahair ❤️."
Earlier this month, the former couple was spotted reuniting for the first time following their June separation. McDermott announced his split from Spelling after 18 years of marriage in an Instagram post at the time, citing that the pair "have decided to go our separate ways.” He deleted the post shortly afterward.
In photos obtained by Page Six, Spelling and McDermott, 57, were snapped speaking with each other at a park in Agoura Hills, California.
Representatives for both Spelling and McDermott did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.
