Tony Liu missed working in a Hong Kong film

21 Aug – Tony Liu recently admitted that he realised how much he missed the Hong Kong audience after making his return to Hong Kong films with new movie, "Little Q".

As reported on Mingpao, the 67-year-old actor, who sat down for an interview to promote the new movie, revealed that he has been busy developing his career in mainland China in recent years, doing mostly costume and period films.

Asked if he would continue to do more Hong Kong movies, the actor responded, "If there is a good script, I have no qualms returning to Hong Kong again to film it. I hope there will be more opportunity to do this in the future."

Speaking about the film, Tony stated that he enjoyed working with animals as it is also a good test of patience.

"The director is very keen and patient when it comes to shooting with these animals. The Guide Dog Association also did a pretty good job. The dogs used in the movie were very well-behaved and knew how to communicate with people," he said.

Aside from "Little Q", Tony is also set to appear in Juno Mak's movie, "Sons of the Neon Night".
