Tony Leung congratulates Michelle Yeoh for Oscar win

16 Mar – Tony Leung recently shared that he is elated for Michelle Yeoh, who recently won Best Actress at the 95th Academy Awards.

The actor, who attended the FILMART recently to promote his new movie, "The Goldfinger", shared that the actress, who worked with him in "Shang Chi" and "Butterfly and Sword", would often notify him whenever she wins an award.

"But this time, she didn't call me. I was the one who sent a text message to congratulate her," he said.

When asked if he would aim to win an Oscar too, seeing that he has made his Hollywood debut previously through the Marvel movie, Tony said that it is all about fate.

"You can't plan these things. It happens when it happens," he said.

It is noted that at the same time Michelle won her first Oscar, Tony was also awarded Best Actor at the Asian Film Awards for his performance in "Where the Wind Blows".
