Tom Brady is ready for redemption!

Twenty-four years after his infamous NFL combine appearance — in which his 40-yard dash didn’t exactly turn any heads — the seven-time Super Bowl champion decided to see if he’s any faster in retirement.

“Twenty-four years ago, I ran a 5.28 40-yard dash,” Brady, 46, said in a video which he posted to X to chronicle his quest. “Maybe, just maybe, we give the 40 one more shot.”

With a crew on deck armed with two timepieces, Brady then proceeded to run the distance — with one stopwatch recording 5.12 and the other 5.18

The retired athlete held up one of the stopwatches on FaceTime to show Mike Repole, his business partner in NoBull — who was impressed. Earlier this year, Brady merged his wellness company TB12 and his apparel venture Brady Brand with sportswear company NoBull.

“If you do that 25 years ago, you’d get drafted in the third round,” Repole joked.

The G.O.A.T.’s time at the 2000 NFL Combine was not as impressive, and as a result, he was drafted No. 199 in the sixth round of the NFL Draft.

Thanks in part to his famous devotion to his diet and fitness, Brady’s result even had the NFL's attention. The league posted an overlay of his recent attempt with his 40 yard dash in 2000 on X.

“46-year old @TomBrady ran a faster 40-yard dash than he did at the combine over 20 years ago,” the NFL wrote alongside the video.
